This equipment is suitable for determining the penetration of residual materials from road petroleum asphalt, polymer-modified asphalt, diluted asphalt, or emulsified asphalt.
Performance features:
1. Controlled by a 10-inch industrial PC all-in-one device with touch-screen operation, used for controlling and recording measurement data.
2. The high-precision LCD meter measures penetration values and simultaneously outputs data.
3. The stepper motor, paired with a dual-rail ball screw module, ensures smooth and rapid lifting and lowering, with four adjustable speed levels to meet precise needle alignment requirements.
4. An electromagnetic standard needle release mechanism ensures that the needle linkage is not affected by friction when it falls freely.
5. To perform the test, simply press the “Insert Needle” and “Calculate Value” buttons to complete the testing procedure; the system will automatically display the average of three measurements.
6. Able to plot the semi-logarithmic curve of penetration depth versus temperature and calculate the penetration index based on experimental data.
7. Data can be exported via USB and RS232 interfaces to generate and print experimental reports; it can also be uploaded to a data platform for further processing.
