This equipment is suitable for determining the penetration of residual materials from road petroleum asphalt, polymer-modified asphalt, diluted asphalt, or emulsified asphalt.
This equipment is also used for the testing of materials such as petroleum wax and lubricating grease.
Performance characteristics:
1. The instrument is equipped with a handwheel that allows for coarse or fine adjustments when aligning the needle, and it also comes with a light source for magnified observation.
2. The needle’s falling time can be switched via a time relay and is controlled by an electromagnetic release mechanism.
3. To perform the needle-insertion procedure, simply press the “Insert Needle” button—easy and quick!
4. The needle penetration value is displayed on the LCD, providing an intuitive and accurate reading.
5. An optional water bath can be equipped with external circulation support for the water bath.
