This method is applicable to determining the difference in the content of evaporation residues at the top and bottom of emulsified asphalt samples stored for 5 days or 1 day, thereby assessing storage stability. It also evaluates the impact of these differences on construction performance and pavement performance.
Performance features:
1. The glass test tube is equipped with two branch ports, one at the top and one at the bottom, and the open ends are fitted with large and small rubber stoppers.
2. Consists of an iron frame with two clamps, providing stable and reliable support, and the height is adjustable.
3. Given the storage stability of emulsified asphalt, storage time and storage temperature are the primary factors; therefore, the new standard imposes certain requirements on ambient temperature.
4. Optional accessories include a 0.6mm filter sieve, balance, and 250mL magnetic evaporating dish.
